Using Points Bank for Medical Payments
"All believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everthing they had." Acts 4:32.

Points Bank MEDCAL was created as a "medical expense sharing" program that allows members of that plan to help other members pay off medical bills. Points Bank MEDICAL is NOT an insurance program. This project was created to bring life to the quote from Acts 4:32 above "All believers were one in hear and mind." However, this program is not asking you to give all of your possessions, just a percentage of your points, each month.

Senergy Ministries has taken on the responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day administration of this program that was created to help people worldwide with their documented medical expenses.

All member of Points Bank are eligible to participate. The program is separate from Points Bank. It is administered totally outside of Points Bank, whose sole responsibility is to facilitate your donation of points to the medical program at Treasure Coast Christian Center. Participation in the Medical program is a totally voluntary program and there are no additional fees or donations required. You simply indicate to us on a form that we provide that you wish to participate in the program.

Here's How it Works
Each month, participating members will donate a specific number of points toward meeting medical needs of the other participating members. Those needing to have medical bills paid will submit their bills to Senergy Ministries Medical Program who will maintain a current list of participating members. If there are enough donations on hand to pay the bills as presented in a given month, Senergy Ministries will pay it. If there are not enough donations, Senergy Ministries will present a request to Points Bank MEDICAL for supplemental points. If Points Bank MEDICAL has the points available, a supplemental donation will go to Senergy Ministries to pay the bills. If there are not enough points in Points Bank Medical, a request will be issued to Points Bank MEDICAL members for additional donations. Again, the donation of points is TOTALLY VOLUNTARY! Any needs unmet in any given month will be placed at the top of the list for the following month until the needs have been met.

Members with accrued points who have medical needs may donate those points to Senergy Ministries instead of taking a loan against the points. Members may not designate the use of those points, however, due to laws governing donations.

Again, this is NOT an insurance program. It is a voluntary association of believers pooling their resources to help others. This program should not be considered an alternative to any insurance policy in which you need a "guarantee" that your responsibilities will be covered. Points Bank MEDICAL cannot make such a guarantee since it is totally dependent on the voluntary gifts of other members. You must remember that you are always liable for any and all of your medical expenses. Points Bank MEDICAL exists to help other members help you.

When donations are received for your payments, they will be paid to the provider in your name.

Like all other Points Bank programs, it will take time to accrue enough points for members to donate to the medical program.

Unlike employment related medical programs, however, there are no waiting periods for coverage. If members have donated points to Senergy Medical Program, your bills will be handled as the points are collected.

There are no penalties for pre-existing conditions. We do not evaluate the medical necessities of the treatments you have received, except to establish that procedures or pharmaceuticals that are counter to our faith are not paid for by our program. Such procedures include any that would be counter to our stand on life.
