One of the most exciting aspects of setting up Points Bank was creating a way to pay for travel. I, like so many others, LOVE to travel. Making that happen for others who love to travel just makes it all the more enjoyable.

There are two ways that you can use Points Bank for travel. The easiest for an individual is to simply pay for the trip and then ask for a loan from points to pay for it. You would then be required to repay the loan as per your agreement.

The second way to use Points Bank for travel is to coordinate it through our travel representative. You will get a personal assistant to work with you on your plans and the arrangements can be paid from points. There is a fee for this service and it can be included in the loan that you receive, if you do this as an individual. If your organization is setting up the travel, the fees would be included as a part of the donation request.

In order to use points, they must already be accrued and awarded.

Imagine being able to save enough points to bring your entire family to Orlando to meet us...Okay...to meet "THE mouse" as in Disney. I took my nephews there for a fun-filled wonderful day, not too long ago. It was glorious watching them have the time of their lives!

I have gone on a few mission trips in my day. I have even led a couple. I recall the problems that we had with some of the students whose parents could not afford to write that check. The church could not afford to underwrite the costs so they had to raise the money themselves. The use of a program like Points Bank would have been ideal. Given enough time and the proper support, points can accrue, either individually or as a group and the cost of the travel would then be covered.

Even more beautiful than that is that the points continue to accrue so that next year, financing the trip will have already been taken care of.

It is all now possible with the use of Points Bank for all of your travel expenses. However, it does take a lot of planning and ACTION! Obviously you cannot jump in today and expect to be traveling next week. It takes time to build your Points Bank account. But it won't ever happen if you don't take action NOW!
